I Got a Bingo!
That’s what I said when I dug into my lobster-sauce drenched, crabbed-stuffed salmon at the Hardware Bar and Grill in Hillsville Saturday night. Although, if my five-year-old grandson Liam saw it, I’m sure he’d think it was more like a “Hot Lava Godzilla.” Sorry about the low-light blur in the picture above. I was probably in a hurry to eat.
Joe got a shrimp jambalaya dish that made for a better photograph, but I was so happy with what I got that I didn’t even need to taste his (okay, maybe one bite). We got treated like royalty and our friend and Hardware owner Logan talked about the Grill’s weekend brunches in such a way that my mouth watered and I was compelled to look at pictures on their Facebook page the next day.
Our Bingo date was topped off with some high talent troubadouring by Seph and TK at Dogtown Roadhouse, where we met up with friends for dancing (which may have been preceded by a signature Hardware cocoanut cake).
There’s still some coconut cake left that will probably taste good while watching the Academy Awards tonight, which is my version of Super Bowl Sunday. What a great place to live! – Read more about the Hardware Bar and Grill HERE.

WOW! That sure does look like you won BINGO and more. I can’t wait to be up and running again and it will be fun to watch the Super Bowl as well.

Even if I liked salmon (not high on my list) I definitely would’ve ordered Joe’s dish instead. Now THAT looks like something I could eat every night!
