Night Tea
Teacup moon
holds a dark brew
Tipped then sipped
from full to new
Generously poured
and light infused
A savored moon
is divinely restored

I had to look at a calendar to find out it’s waning; we’ve been overcast so long I can hardly even recall the moon (or the sun, for that matter).
Your poem, though, is indeed the perfect refresher. Thanks, CR!

I think this is a new favourite of your poems for me. I love your image of the moon. Amazing metaphoric language.

Nice time and mood for moon gazing. You tell it good, though I’d of had a cuppa decaf.
