Sing Praises
Over the weekend I heard my first peepers, the crocus popped and Joe dug a hole for transplanting some giant lilies.
We went to the 30th anniversary celebration of The Kind at the Pine Tavern.
The above rousing sing-along conclusion to I Know You Rider about sums up the celebration for the band that is only one year older than Joe’s and my romance.
Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone, the second line to I Know You Rider, certainly summed up the weekend memorial for our longtime dear friend Rick Cooley. Yes, Rick, we will miss you. Your memory and your legacy of art will live on in Floyd and far beyond. More to come. / Our World Tuesday

That photo is Gorgeous! It is almost unreal in the way it looks like a painting…..! Happy Spring, my dear.
I have my first new tenants in the Nest by my front door….This is a nest that has been used for at least twenty years. So, I know, even though our weather is very very weird, the sweet Mourning Doves are back for the Spring Season of Babies! Love them a lot!
Sorry for your loss, dear Colleen……Too many losses here too…..It is so very sad.

The crocuses (croci?) are just beautiful. I am sorry about your friend …it looks like it was a great tribute and send off for him.

Your blue crocus are so eye catching and beautiful! I enjoyed hearing the song, but sad to hear about the loss of a friend. May he rest in peace.

I love the humble crocus which faithfully and bravely pushes through the ground each Spring. It tells me of warmer weather ahead and gives hope for the gray days yet to burn through. I’m sorry about your friend. May he be at peace now.
