Scary-oke Karaoke

Season of the Witch, Witchy Woman, I Put a Spell on You, Ghostbusters and Thriller were some of the Halloween themed songs performed at a special edition of Buzzkill Karaoke, “Scary-oke,” Tuesday night at Dogtown Roadhouse.
Hosts Vinyl Richie (Christian Saunders) and Mama Crass (Susan Saunders) encouraged people to join in the fun and helped with song selections. The couple also performed a duet and solos, following song lyrics on a computer screen.
The interactive entertainment, which normally takes place on Wednesdays from 6:00 to closing, made its debut in June and has attracted an enthusiastic following.
On most nights there is a line of people waiting to sign-up for a signing slot, said MC Susan Saunders. Spontaneous dancing and chorus sing-alongs from the audience add to the fun.
The Roadhouse was decked out for the Halloween Costume Party with Stone Canyon, Saturday October 29, beginning at 8 p.m. Here, diners by a giant spider web design listened to karaoke performers as they ate.
