Is That Anyway to Treat Santa?
Someone got a leopard-skin-pillbox hat for Christmas. The gift box was signed, from Dylan. “There are other people named Dylan besides your son,” Joe said when he gave it to me.
Someone was good this year.
Some didn’t want to just sit on Santa’s lap but wanted to impersonate, box, sing Christmas songs to and otherwise get up close and personal with him. See HERE.
Looking at the photos of our neighborhood Cookies and Kaluah Christmas Eve Party the next day, I kept thinking how different they looked than the Trump family shot where everyone is sitting in and around gold chairs.
At our family holiday gathering there was a new baby to coo over.
There were hats to don, including the leopard skin pillbox one and one that lit up.
Speaking of lights, we encourage people to bring recycled gifts for Christmas grab bag exchange, and one certain artist in the group up-cycled a recycled pair of shoes in a jazzy way. Check out my grab-bag footwear.
I didn’t get to keep them for long.
There’s always a little unexpected Christmas magic or a new face in the crowd.
As far as Christmas Eve parties go, I’d have to say we hit the jackpot with this one.
And there were gourmet cupcakes from Confectious Shenanigans, French Broad chocolates, along with some Doritos from the pinata left over for Christmas Day.
Well, you look so pretty in it … Honey, can I jump on it sometime … Yes, I just want to see if it’s really that expensive kind … You know it balances on your head just like a mattress balances on a bottle of wine … Your brand new leopard-skin pill-box hat … Dylan
