Floyd’s first Downtown Chocolate Lounge
Chai truffles, coffee caramels, peppermint bark, cranberry-orange pecan clusters are just some of the artisan chocolates featured at Cocoa Mia, a new chocolate lounge in downtown Floyd, across from the Courthouse.
Morgan Ohland (pictured in blue) is Cocoa Mia’s owner and chocolatier. She crafts chocolate confections daily on site, along with chocolate beverages, which include her signature sipping chocolate, chocolate tea and hot chocolate served with whipped cream.
The lounge opened in November within Salvage & Chic, a home décor shop with an Old World atmosphere that’s perfect for sipping and tasting chocolate.
You can visit Cocoa Mia on Facebook to see photos of their current luscious chocolates, or check out their webpage HERE. Hours are Thursday – Saturday 10 – 7 pm and Sunday 10 – 3 pm.
