Missing
I come across a letter
It doesn’t matter what she wrote
Her handwriting is like her thumbprint
impressed on me
A nudge
A comfort
A lover letter lost
A clue not meant
for solving

I like that you found the letter…it made me wonder how many letters are just waiting to be rediscovered.

There is something about a letter…one not read for a long time. It is the fact that the person cared enough to write that is important… Touching poetry.

Raeding this I remember how precious old letters from family members or lovers were that you kept safely in your box of treasures. What a beautiful and poignant poem.

There is comfort in this. I have my mom’s journals that I can’t read because I need a translator . I can’t wait to .

How true! Some clues given are never meant to be solved.

There is something about handwriting that attaches one to a beloved long after they have gone.
