I Brake for Wildlife
Even if it’s Halloween weekend and I went to a party the night before and have a party to go to the night after, I come out to dance to Richie Ursomarso and whatever Wildlife he puts together on stage.
This time, the new addition was Sam Kephart on fiddle, which even got some Dogtown Roadhouse restaurant patrons up from their pizza to flatfoot.
Richie is a Floyd favorite, playing R&B Soul grooves. It’s like having our own John Meyer on site. His guitar playing is fantastic and he writes many of his own songs, although the sweet number in the video clip below is a Bob Marley favorite because sometimes the R in R&B stands for Reggae.
Richie was joined by more Floyd stand-outs, Luke and Jake Thomas and Janiah Allen, and of course, the dancers, who know not to miss a Richie and the Wildlife show.
And HERE’S Richie at YogaJam 2014 doing one of his original songs.

Without a doubt, my favorite band to dance to.

I get them so mixed up. Brothers that look alike and have names that sound alike.
