Floyd Chamber’s Spooktacular Gala

The Chantilly Farm barn facility was filled with costumed guests Thursday evening for a free-to-the-public Spooktacular Gala, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Chantilly Farm.
Tables lined the two-story facility, showcasing local businesses and organizations. Wine-tastings and cash bar wines were provided by local winery’s and DJ sounds focused on spooky numbers.
Adrian Wallace, who was accompanied by his mother, receives a balloon dog made by a representative of the United Way.
Cameron Woodruff and Laura Jo Powell show off two of the evening’s elaborately homemade costumes. Woodruff, who was representing The Floyd Ghost Tour and vending his pottery, made his Star Wars sith costume, complete with fanned ventilation in the helmet. Powell, who was representing The Hotel Floyd, handmade her rain cloud headpiece.
Karen Grosshans, Virginia Neukirch and Maxine Lewis enjoy food provided by Blue Ridge Catering.
It looks like Chamber Director John McEnhill’s costume (left) scared Healing Tree Wellness Center’s Ivan Anderson (right).
Chantilly Farm’s marketing director Jason Gallimore was decked out from head to toe in Mad Hatter fashion.
The Mystic Witches of Floyd’s flash mob dance was a highlight of the gala.

You did a beautiful job of covering the Chamber Spooktacular event. Thank you for the great picture of me and plugging my Jewelry Open House this month. However, there is one correction. My last name if Brickhouse, not Brickman.
