Open for Fun and Business

I tried to tell the AEP powerline guys who were clearing the lines and cutting trees in our yard that they needed to haul the logs out by Thursday because I had hundreds of people coming to my house over the weekend.

I don’t think they believed me, but it was true.  On Friday people filled up my porch and my kitchen-and-living-room-turned-pottery-gallery for the annual fall Studio Tour of 16 Hands, of which my son, Josh Copus, is a member.

Some hung out in the yard.

At least one hung out in a tree.

Some posed for Floyd family community shots.

Josh got some hugs.

And baby Owen was the center of attention when he was with his mom, Josh’s guest artist Laura Cooke.  Laura’s pottery was a hit with tour goers too.

I texted this picture to our grandsons Bryce and Liam, who made some great signs while visiting Uncle Josh’s Brick Factory at the Marshall Jail project HERE.  I captioned it “We need some signs made saying Open for Business Come Right In.”

We’re open for business and fun Saturday and Sunday too.

Come find a favorite piece.  Check out more details HERE.
