Last night I was the featured author at the Hotel Floyd Artists’ & Author’s Reception for the Floyd Center for the Arts.

The Center and the Hotel Floyd host work of local artists and authors by rotation. Receptions take place on the 2nd Friday, every other month, from 5-7 p.m. at the Hotel Floyd

Along with myself as the featured author, painter Rosalind Waiwaiole, ceramic artist Cory Potrafka (pictured right) and jewelry artist Annie Armistead were featured.

After enjoying some socializing, wine and refreshments, I gave a presentation and reading.

Thanks to everyone who came out and made the evening a success. The exhibit will be up for the next two months and exhibit items are all for sale.

The Hotel Floyd, a downtown boutique hotel with themed rooms that were decorated by local businesses and organizations, is located at 300 Rick Lewis Way.
