I don’t know what the Society for the Protection of Onions (SPO) would say about this but it certainly brought tears to my eyes.

I confess I find it hard to get from onions to origami doves – unless the speaker is slicing the onions into decorative shapes? (Which would be quite a feat, I think.) Easier to get from the doves to the flying souls. But neatly-written, arresting and thought-provoking all the same.
