I am awaiting the colors of Spring in New England – so seeing the lovely violet Crocus at least gives me the assurance that Spring is near…

Ah, really love the two-part poem. When the crocuses open, it is a glorious time!! Spring has arrived.
(I can see that many poets are anxious for this time of year.)

So lovely. So envious. I keep telling myself this time of year that having no winter is a fair trade off for having no early spring. Sometimes it works.
