2. Climbing the Wall Here.

The plan was for Joe and I to spend the weekend visiting my Asheville Potter Son Josh and his fiancé Emily and to help them get “The Land” ready for their wedding in September.  The Land is in Marshall, 20 minutes outside of Asheville, where Josh and Emily live.  It’s a complex of kilns, gardens, a labyrinth and even a party plaza, all made by Josh with mostly salvaged materials.  Josh does his woodfiring there. I’ve recently been calling it “The Clay Farm,” a destination farm. – More from The Marshall Plan HERE. 

4. Joe and Josh worked on a bridge where the wedding procession will cross over a creek to the stone stairs that lead to the wedding platform.

6. I used to have a crush on Jeff Bridges.
