Love those deer-we have lots here too but a different kind. It’s our biggest road hazard!

I always enjoy seeing them when they are NOT in our gardens. Hubby has love/hate relationship with them due to damage they have done to the gardens this year. Roses might just as well close shop now. Maybe next year will be different. Yours don’t seem anymore frightened of people than ours. Stare downs are a summer game here, too! Watching hubby run after them, clapping loudly is a hoot! They move away from him and then turn around and stare, stopping abruptly in their tracks, and I sense there is some kind of deer-speak happening like “giving him the cloven hoof!” 😉

We have the same problem. They eat the tops off my flowers! And the answer is ‘Yes, I’m looking at you and you are guilty!’

Love seeing them too. I’ve heard they can be seen outside our condo early in the morning by Lake Ontario, Poor things are getting displaced.

And the moment you snapped the photo, they turned tail and ran!
