While Others are Taking Yoga Classes I’m Drinking Beer at the Pub
When Joe and I were recently at the new brew pub in town, Buffalo Mountain Brewery, I joked that drinking beer at the pub was going to be my new “practice.”
Really, it gets me out of homebody recluse mode and helps to lighten me up. It’s also a great place to meet up with old friends and meet some new ones.
The atmosphere is so homey. Their Copperhead IPA is my go-to, and live music (in this case, Taylor Kent) is the gravy on the bangers and mash (actually, they have beer brats with sauerkraut and Grateful Bread pretzels).
I love good craft beer, even though I usually can only handle a half pint. The whole pub lifestyle brings out the Irish (the best) in me, so much so that my new ambition is to become a pub regular. Scrabble anyone?

I’d join you at the pub and have a good time.
and RoseMary says,”It’s always important to follow your roots – “if it means you gotta start drinking, than you gotta do what you gotta do.”

Ha ha! I guess we’d have to alternate the pub with the Chateau Morrisette Winery for their Our Dog Blue!

I love me a craft beer too. Fortunately for us we have a local brewery that makes the amazing brews. Many Moons is made of chocolate, coffee, and coconut. Mmm.

I’ve been off on a post crawl (almost as much fun as a pub crawl) since pretty much every one of your 13 gives me something fun to read. Best thank you before I forget to come back from some post (I’m off to read about funny librarians now and that will probably take some time). Merry Christmas to you and the whole family.
