I wish I had taken pictures! It is beautiful here, a little late, but beautiful!

I like the way the fall foliage looks in the fog. It has not been a great fall foliage season here but there are splashes of color finally but mostly rust. Unfoggy scenes here – http://looseleafnotes.com/2018/10/hump-day/

these are ABSOLUTELY beyond stunning Colleen!
I mean truly – wow!
from a technical point of view? you’ve captured such richness in the depth of field, their is no flatness to the images, which so often happens on foggy days, and the details “ghosting” themselves through the layers, of the atmospheric conditions, is AMAZING! Holy shoot! Talk about being at the right place in the right time, the perfect capture for the lighting – and in fog, mist, rain, the “fracturing” of the lighting does all kinds of “weird” – but these images ….. BRAVA!
And now, on to the best part?
These are POEMS – in themselves. They are incredible.
I WISH I had taken these images. They are totally amazing. I particularly love the first 4 – they are exceptional, but wow – I would gladly have these hanging on my walls.
Just to immerse myself in them – to drift and dream –
And I hope that you weren’t “soaked” through after your outing.
And finally, here too, “fall” wasn’t brilliant – colour bursts eventually – but exceedingly short-lived; it’s been weeks now, since it’s nothing more than evergreens and naked branches. But you’ve walked into some wonders nonetheless – keen eye and intuition!
I really love these! Wow!

I like fog. Maybe because it’s swimming around my head most of the time.

I absolutely love fog and mist. We get great banks rolling in from the sea. Your pictures are wonderful, Colleen!

This is not a poem. I meant to link poets here: http://looseleafnotes.com/2018/11/fall-flavor-2/ Sorry!
