The Crash Test Dummies are on tour for the 25th anniversary of their award-winning album God Shuffled His Feet, one of my all-time favorite albums that I wore out playing and singing along to throughout the ‘90s. It was so good to be with a crowd of other Crash Test Dummy fans at the Rocky Mount Harvester Performance Center, drinking a good IPA and even dancing when I felt moved.
The people sat waiting / Out on their blankets in the garden / But God said nothing / So someone asked him “I beg your pardon /I’m not quite clear about what you just spoke / What that a parable, or a very subtle joke?”…

I thought that too. They opened with the second one I posted and closed with the first, so they were fully warmed up. But I love hearing all the songs.
