The Grand Reopening at Troika

Art lovers filled the Troika Gallery at The Station for the grand re-opening last Friday evening, which included a meet and greet of the artists, snacks and drinks. Ownership of the Contemporary Crafts Gallery has recently changed hands. The new owners are jeweler Annie Armistead and potter Abby Reczek.

Reczek is a past apprentice of Silvie Granatelli, and Wilsterman is a current apprentice. Granatelli is one of the previous owners of the Troika Gallery, along with Susan Icove and Gibby Waitzkin.

The Opening exhibit, Mud and Metal, featured Reczek’s pottery and Armistead’s jewelry, as well as a wide variety of crafts handmade by regional artists, including a display of items made by local woodworkers.
Troika Gallery is open Sunday 12 – 5 pm, Monday – Thursday 11 – 4 pm, Friday 11 – 6 pm, and Saturday 10 – 5 pm. – Colleen Redman
