The next best thing to Pink Floyd in Floyd is The Darkside Experience, an operatic Pink Floyd immersion, complete with an epic light show. And it happened right here in Floyd at our hometown Dogtown Roadhouse.
We were all in the Pink of psychedelic nostalgia and loving every moment.
Beam me up, Roger.

Their words still hold today: Mother should I build the wall? / Mother should I run for President? / Mother should I trust the government? / Mother will they put me in the firing mine? / Ooh ah, Is it just a waste of time?
The class act band out of Roanoke, playing at Dogtown Saturday night, was top notch.
Joe, a major Pink Floyd fan, was texting a high school friend video clips of the show when he wasn’t lost in singing along and dancing. Watch HERE.

Another big WOW! Nelson loves Pink Floyd too! He would have loved this show.
The psychedelic lights remind me of the Surf, when I worked there in the 70’s they used to have to set up light shows. Great fun and Joe is a good dancer I see!

The event has a futuristic feel like in a Star Trek cafe. The band was so ahead of its time speaking about walls, a metaphor for so many ills in the world … invisible and otherwise!
