Early Bird Reveille
Then came the golden finch
to cinch the coming of Spring
to turn on the bulbs and ring in the bells
that wake the dormant daffodils

The turning on of a light and the ringing of bells. Spring always does feel like an awakening. With the little bird come to sing the day anew!

Here was I thinking daffodils were the sign of Spring and now find that that cheeky finch sets it all off!
