Social Distance Camping
It’s been a dizzying turn of events in the last few weeks.
But, for a couple of days, we had a campground to ourselves, which was located by a nearby park along the New River.
Our grandson Liam thinks he’d rather bike than walk a mile on the trail.
Single file.
Checking out the local swimming holes.
The album cover shot.
Along with lots of hand sanitizing, there were water bottle wars, great stove-top meals, puzzle making, football throws (this is Bryce throwing the football over the camper) and campfire songs and ghost stories by the fire.
Joe’s campfire story was called The New Jersey Devil, mine was called The Headless Chicken, and Liam’s might have been called Where Ketchup Comes From.
In a pinch, Liam toasts a chocolate sea-salt protein bar. We also popped popcorn over the fire.
How many free take-out fries can you eat in Fries (freeze) VA?
And how many more weeks will we be social distancing? Be well.

Since you have to stay in a bubble right now, you’ve found yourself a very nice one to be in. Stay well.

It was nice the kids could get out in the outdoors while still doing safe distancing and health practices. – Margy
