13: New Tricks
1. Text to Joe while dog sitting: I was trying to get a picture of me and my new friend Petunia to send to Bryce (our grandson who loves dogs) when she French kissed licked me.
2. Her name is Petunia but I keep calling her Tuna or Tulip.
3. Our first day at the beach where Joe’s mother and sister lives, there was no beach. It got washed away by gullies, canals and pools and it wasn’t even high tide yet. The wind and the breakers were intense. All the beach goers were pushed up to the dunes and grown men were floating around in the tide pools.
4. The beach is like Christmas. I always wish we had a kid with us to enjoy it.
5. Euphemisms, aphorisms or idioms?
6. We make waves when we swim against the tide.
7. I call this shot The Ocean Burial.
8. Or maybe it’s an Ocean Birth.
9. “Nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it’s sent away.” – Sarah Kay
10. I love to people watch and read their T-shirts but will never get used to reading people by their tattoo signage.
11. We are not in Aruba.
12. Regarding those who think Trump’s unpopularity is because of the people who hate him: “If I saw a house on fire, I wouldn’t hate the fire, I would say ‘let’s put that out before is spreads more!”
13. “If you need me, call me on my shell.” – Unknown

Oh, I love camera shy but friendly girl “Tuna”! Boy on the beach is my favorite pic. I agree on people watching, it’s a rather fun hobby. Happy TT!

I think I like Tuna better than Petunia. Not a bad name, but. . .
I do love the beach, but from a distance.
