1. Ice storm on top of pandemic. THIS was my valentine greeting this year.

2. On Valentine’s Day I got a Covid vaccine shot in my left shoulder and later in the day some acupuncture needles for a sore shoulder in my right.  “These ain’t no Cupid’s arrows I’m getting shot with,” I said to Joe.

3. Now I have two sore shoulders.

4. I did an interview and story with a friend who has an art business called Paper & Ink and I kept thinking, wouldn’t it be funny if the name was Paper & Ink Inc.

7. There’s a big difference between a politician urging citizens to fight for affordable healthcare or civil rights than one urging followers to fight to overturn a certified U.S. election that he lost.

10. My sister and I were recently talking about the loss of truth in these Trump times and how truth is healing and reveals itself when you least expect it. I’m inspired by truth, so I looked up some sayings and here are a couple of my new favorites. “When truth is replaced by silence, the silence is a lie.” ― Yevgeny Yevtushenko
