on a balcony of branches
a late-night caller
attracting admirers
Like moths to a flame
drawn to its serenade

I’ve fallen under her spell many time. I was thrilled that I managed to be awake to see the eclipse the other night. And I even managed to get back to sleep peacefully right after (instead of puttering in my kitchen and cursing insomnia).
