Half Moon Wink
Upside-down parasol of pink
A sleeping eyelid
waiting to blink
From bashful to bold
it flutters open and closed
and sometimes it turns
the other cheek

That is a nice image of an upside down umbrella. We only see one side of the moon but that side is an ever-changing beauty as your words so aptly have shown.

Those umbrellas have a mind of their own, especially when they are trying to hide from the wind. 🙂

Love the precise images. They left me smiling. Makes want to play with my umbrella under the moon or huge winking eyes…

I like to think that you are writing about the phases of the moon. What ingenious play of words. 😀👍
