The Weekend Update That’s Not Aired on SNL
I didn’t know whether to watch the tulips
Or the high school prom gown photo shoots at the Hahn Garden. There were more prom gowns at Lefty’s Main Street Grille where we had dinner.
After dinner, we retired to the Duck Pond (our old stomping ground when I worked in my friend Juniper’s Blacksburg bead shop) and spread out a blanket to watch the ducks and the sunset before our nightlife.
The Milk Parlor doesn’t serve milk but does feature live music, like our favorite Grateful Dead band ‘The Kind.’
I cut off the end of this favorite song when I could no longer resist the urge to dance to it.
It was a late night and a long drive home (1 hour). We missed SNL again.
