When Going to the Chapel Means a Wedding at Floyd’s Own Dogtown Roadhouse
It’s helpful when you co-own a great venue and your outdoor wedding needs an indoor home because it’s raining outside.
The community came together to celebrate the marriage of Dogtown co-owner Elizabeth and Jake under the chuppah.
It was a family affair.
Part tradition
and part Floyd style
with a potluck spread to rival any catered reception.
There were heartfelt wedding vows, toasts and cake.
The reception party was a new take on the Dogtown Open Mic. It was Sunday after all!
Of course there was plenty of dancing
And merrymaking.
Whoo-ee, ride me high / Today’s the day that my bride’s gonna come / Whoo-ee, are we gonna fly / Down into the easy chair…
Mazel tov and sweet blessings to Elizabeth and Jake! It was an honor to celebrate with you. – Watch Jake propose to Elizabeth via an original song at the Dogtown Open Mic HERE.
