Love these photos! I used to have rhododendrons along the front of my house.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is line with them for miles and miles. They are different than the store bought ones. Magical with wooded thicket worlds beneath them.

My house was on a mountain outside Chattanooga, on a wooded lot where we built a house beside a mountain stream that fell maybe 100 feet off the edge of the mountain edge (across the street from us) to the valley below. We got them from a nursery not far away on that mountain top.
