Hoppie Vaughan on the Lawn
It was a Floyd Small Town Summer dance party in Lineberry Park. All the dancers warmed up to the inventive pan drum compositions of Jonathan Scales with the Fourchestra.
It was a beautiful summer evening and a joyous reunion of friends.
More dancers joined in to move to the soulful grooves of Hoppie and the Ministers of Soul.
I didn’t get any decent crowd shot pictures or any of the throng of dancers because I was dancing in the mix, but my friend Holly (left) did and she managed to set up this happy shot of a group of us.
Hoppie took us happily into the night.
