10 Commandments for 21st Century
Pull the fire alarms
Build the arks
Don’t suffocate yourself
with plastic
Don’t shoot black men
for traffic violations
Don’t take Christmas pictures
of your children with AR15s
Don’t clear cut the rainforest
Don’t sell the farm
Stand up for what’s right
Don’t fall for a cult
and love your neighbor
as yourself

Time indeed to build the arks since we won’t do anything else except cut more rainforest and burn more fuel!! A good list, Colleen. (I looked up AR15 – oh dear)

These commandments would certainly be very helpful

I had to look up AR15s. Do people really take pictures of their children with? (Ah yes, our gun laws differ.)
Excellent rules! The last of course universal, eternal and so sadly forgotten much too often.

All the pieces of advice are highly useful in the now.

Stand up for what’s right is what you do well and incredible how some need to look up AR15s when in North America it’s sadly and far too often in the news.

Yes, in the U.S. several right wing extremist politicians have taken Christmas (and other) pictures with their families (including children) holding AR15 military rifles. It’s insane.

The gun thing is novel….what’s that expression…only in America! You’re right it is insane but Colleen I hate to tell you this but I think the whole world is insane !

All true. It’s been a long time since we’ve had so much horrible news at one time.

So many questions, but who is truly seeking the best answers? “Aye, there’s the rub!” As the poet who coined the phrase long ago, would surely agree. 🙂

I read this list (perfectly composed) with a smile on my face, with a clear awareness of their import, knowing you have a clear understanding of US & THEM.

Very much indeed , your commandments are the basic and most relevant in today’s world…one to keep

This is a valuable set of commandments, Colleen.
Well done!
