It was a lovely love shared with family and friends in the mountains of Swannanoa North Carolina.

Michael and Clary exchanged their vows under the ceremonial chuppah canopy. “With you, I am learning about a deeper kind of love,” Clary shared with Michael. “I was immediately struck by your brightness,” said Michael, remembering their first date.

“Clary and Michael are sure to continue to grow in the light and the gold that they have discovered in each other,” stated wedding officiant Katherine Moonflower, who lives in the same intentional community in Floyd County (Zephyr) that Clary and her twin sister Cloe grew up in.

Laughter and applause were freely expressed.

Sisters smiled.

Babies made the rounds.

Friends and communities mingled.

Hugs were freely given and received.

There was even an Acro-yoga performance.
