Back in the Saddle
It was a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.
And these are some of the neighbors.
We rode to the Saddle Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway, the place of our wedding vows, sunsets and spectacular views.
Sometimes I left Joe in the dust and reached the top first because I have an electric bicycle and he does not.
We’ve been watching this particular tree die over the years and still visit her like an aging friend.
It was a 9 mile ride in total. I feel pretty accomplished!
