Wish You Were Here

I texted this picture from The Parkway Grille to my grandson Liam and said, “We should have invited you.”

But I’m getting ahead of myself. The dessert was to-go and came after this gourmet meal, prepared by our good friend Logan Tiebout, owner of Floyd’s Parkway Grille.

Both meals that Joe and I had were out of this world.

On top of the gourmet food, the warm atmosphere and the Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ IPA we shared, we had several fulfilling exchanges with friends that we ran into. The whole experience turned out to be the perfect antidote to being homebound with all the snow, ice and cold we’ve been dealing with lately.
I texted this picture that hangs in the restaurant to my grandson Bryce. He is pictured in the left lower corner of this 2018 story I wrote for the Floyd Press about the opening of this local restaurant, about to dig in to his berry medley breakfast crepe.

I truly love a good restaurant! It’s fun taking pics of the delicious food too! But I like to know what you had and with a description👍❤️

I don’t remember the details, but Joe’s was tuna with some sushi rolls and mine was Salmon. They were specials. You can check out some of Logan’s dishes via pictures here:https://www.facebook.com/logan.tiebout
