In the Easter Pink

There was a Lucky Dog sale at Chateau Morrisette Winery where we had an Easter Brunch, but I was the lucky dog.  I found a sparkly pink Easter egg left over from the Easter egg hunt earlier in the day.

I remember hiding Easter Eggs for my kids but don’t remember ever finding one for myself before, at least never one that surprising and pretty.   It was filled with a stack of quarters. I felt like I won the lottery!

We also saw this at our lunch brunch. I call it “We’re All Ears.”

Joe to Colleen:  See the ladies with the weird hats. What do you think their deal is? Colleen: I don’t know. Let me go take their picture and ask them.

It was a double Bachelorette Bash and it turned out we had a Dogtown Roadhouse friend in common. They had me pull up your Facebook post about it, Willow.

There was also a wildflower hike in Rock Castle Gorge.

The Bluebells were are out.

Meanwhile, Our Dog Blue is Joe’s mom’s favorite wine and her birthday is this week. Happy 95th birthday Mary!

The egg was filled with a stack of quarters. “What are you going to do with those quarters,” Joe later asked me. “I don’t know. I guess I’ll go to the laundromat and wash our clothes,” I joked.
