Eclipse
Moon empties
the sun’s hot plate
bite by bite
it swallows the light
Bit by bit
it moves like a ship
crossing the sun’s
waves of blaze

Nice distorted echo, bite and bit.
We were 94% but it was cloudy and raining that day. Typical Houston spring weather.

Has to be the most creative, delightful, lyrical poem about the Eclipse I’ve read!!! Brava and Cheers, Colleen.

Bite by bite (love that) we saw it happen!! Even in the 90% range the temp. drop was dramatic and the shadows strange and eerie.
