Be Water
Transparent and vital
Water runs deep
It goes where it wants to
and doesn’t flow upstream
It cools the burn
and cleans the wound
It moves around obstacles
and comes full circle
Shapeless
It takes shape
It carries its own weight
First medicine
First mirror
Bearer of life
Be more like water
Follow your nature
Be free to give freely
Softly strong and lightly heavy

I feel like that when I’m swimming, Colleen. Great advice, and I love that line:
‘Softly strong and lightly heavy’.

Sometimes a poem reveals an idea that you wonder that makes you why it is not part of the mainstream of wisdom and why you didn’t see it before…
