You Know How I Love a Good Lightshow

I could barely see anything with the naked eye up at The Saddle last night. A photographer told me to point my camera towards places where the sky is light, and that’s what I did.

I caught a flash of red, but most of my pictures were black, until I got home, sent them to Photoshop and lightened them up.

Surprise! Does this count as seeing The Northern Lights as far down as Virginia? Seems more like a black crayon resist art project to me.

It looks beautiful! I heard something similar and to wear your Eclipse glasses. I haven’t seen anything, but then again I’m not trying!

I didn’t need eclipse glasses. It was all dark black. Some here saw with the naked eye but I only saw when I took my black night pictures to adobe and lighten them. It was there all along!
