I didn’t see any trick-or-treaters for Halloween but I did meet a pig named Louie wearing a cow costume.

Floyd is such a cool place that we had two Halloween parties to go to. What a treat!

First, we met up with some friends at the Buffalo Mountain Brewery for beer and to hear our friend Starroot and Friends (with one friend being Mike Mitchell on fiddle).

Our long-time Floyd friend, German-born Starroot performed songs from her new Folk/Bluegrass CD, Now I Feel Like an American. Listen HERE. 

The Outer Space Party was in full swing with dancing and general merriment when we got there.

We arrived in time for a rousing set by Henry Hardt and the Mudcats.

It was the seasonal closing of the outdoor venue and was a real community gathering complete with sing-alongs.

We all had a Grrreat Halloweeen!
