Message for Congressman Morgan Griffith

“I want Morgan Griffith to put his principles before party. I want him to put people before politics. I want the Republicans to stop trying to take away everything our tax payer dollars is going for that are used for us… our roads, our schools, everything. They’re trying to privatize the entire government so our tax dollars go to them and they can give rebates to corporations that never pay taxes.  He’s got to do something because this, this is insane what’s allowed to happen. I’ve had enough. He needs to hear these messages and he needs to have a backbone and show up like we did.”

“It (Social Security) subsidizes the federal government, which most of that debt came from under Trump’s last administration, by the way. So, the fact that they can go on and act like the money we put aside after years of working is an entitlement to take is the most insulting thing I’ve ever heard… I will always be ashamed of Morgan Griffith as my Representative for the government for the shameful way he’s behaved in kowtowing to this administration and this mean-spirited approach to government and his support of the 2020 big lies and all the lies that has come from this administration. I think that is a shameful legacy that he’s going to carry.”

“Congress holds the purse strings, not Elon Musk. Not DOGE. Congress approved these programs that are being cut short. Farmers suddenly find themselves without reimbursement for $1,000s. Some of these farms will go out of business.”

Meet Adam Murphy who is exploring running against Griffith. When asked by Karen Baker (pictured left), who most recently ran against Griffith, why he is thinking about running, Murphy noted the current situation. “I have a pretty good job but it feels like the future is slipping away… I just feel like I have to do something… So I’m going around getting to know the district and meeting the people.”

    Wow! It really is happening!
No Republican representative is showing up to the Town Meetings!!!!!! This is atrocious.
The speakers were great! But no one is listening – it’s like they are STONEWALLING WE THE PEOPLE …..

About 20 people came out to speak and submit in writing what they want our Congressman to hear. Last month there were 70. I took a video clip of one speaker, posted it and it has 1,700 hits so far. I hope the Congressman saw it. I also documented it for the local paper and hopefully some heard these citizens’ words via that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARRuZ8FnAX4
