Scenes From the 11th Annual Little River Poetry Festival

When your book photo looks better than the real thing because you’re late for your own reading… and your first!

I was followed by a fabulous foursome.

Poets read poems from their phones.

Sometimes they hold signs.

Paper is still acceptable… and sometimes preferable.

Poets have the best t-shirts.

It’s not a competition but…

We sang Happy Birthday to Rachel Anne.

Edith did an acronym.

This was a mother and daughter duo.

Herself read poems from her pilgramage to Ireland.

We love a good open mic.

And a good workshop to get to work on.

Friendships have been built over the 11 years and every year they are strenghthend.

What a wonderful post! Someday hopefully I can come to one of the Poetry Feast! ( it’s the first thing on my bucket list, because I’m anti-bucket list ( not into them) !! 🤣
