13: Hopa’s Opus
After our 18-year-old grandson Bryce’s high school graduation, my husband (Hopa Joe) took him and his 15-year-old brother Liam on a month-long camping road trip across the country. They visited caverns, canyons, sand dunes, Mesa Verde, Hollywood, Sequoia National Park, Joshua Tree, Bryce Canyon and other places. After three weeks, their dad Dylan and uncle Josh flew out and met up with them at Joshua Tree National Park. They spent five days together before Dylan and the boys flew home (their first plane trip) and Josh stayed on to visit more canyons as part of his ceramic artist research inspiration, and Joe headed home in the camper truck. There was lots of adventure and family bonding. These photos are a small representation of some of the trip highlights.
