This is How We Do It: Daydreaming at Floydfest 2026
Here I am trying to hitch a ride down to the main Floydfest hub. Joe sent a text to our son Josh saying, “Come spread your wings at Floydfest Daydream ’26.” He’s coming on Friday. We enjoyed the flower gardens and natural trail down to the site.
First stop before heading down to the main site was Omnibuild Canopy Grove Stage. We got separated for a bit and Joe texted me saying, ‘Come see this band, they play some Grateful Dead and Almond Butter,” I laughed because I knew what he meant. I told my friends Grateful Dead heads Wenona and Scott Happy Anniversary because last year I videotaped them dancing in the same spot and congratulated them on their wedding day.
Next up: Railroad Earth. It was their first time at the new site. I think the lead singer sounds like Bob Dylan.
The Audience loved them. I got in the photographer’s pit for a couple of songs because I was taking photos for The Floyd Times and turned to capture this. Keep your eye out for Joe and my friends Holly and Eia waving in the crowd.
Solacoustix really broke it down on the VIP stage. They were joined by past Floydfest On the Rise winner Jared Stout. And then the bubble guy came!
Sweet dreams are made of this! A perfect cover for Floyfest Daydream 2026 and one everyone can sing along with.
A taste of the talents of A J Lee and the Blue Summit playing on the Oasis Stage.

How did I miss not getting a videoclip of Music Road Co. I think it was because I was busy dancing with these MRCO goers.
You Can Call Him Billy but the Hill is Gone – The Thursday Main Stage Headliner who I was excited to see and thought he sounded like Bruce Springsteen was singer/songwriter country rocker Stephen Wilson Jr. He used to be a boxer and a scientist in his former lives and was called a hillbilly. “It wasn’t a compliment,” so he wrote this song.
