13: You Frame It

1. I was covering three Floyd Plein Air festival events over the weekend but called it the Plein Faire by mistake. Maybe the Plein Air Faire would be a good name for it. Story at Floyd Times.
2. Reality as we have collectively named it / can be viewed like a dream / prisms seen from different angles / revealing parts of the same.
3. You named it or you nailed it?

4. Speaking of framed, Plein Air artist Seirra Fenton painted Florence, the blue bus vintage thrift shop at Outer Space that has become famous ever since a Town Council member suggested it be taken away because it was immobile and against downtown code. Save the Bus has become a thing.
5. My Taubman Museum writer’s office. Story HERE.

6. Lately, writing poetry feels like putting meat on bones. The framework built over the years is in place and now I’m getting to the meat of the matter. – From How You Frame It HERE.
7. Sometimes I browse through this blog like I browse through my closet looking for something that feels new to take out and re-wear.

8. Here is an example of one of the Quick Draw (painted downtown in 3 hours from scratch) Plein Air Challenge, painted by William Hendricks of the Floyd Country Store alley at sunset and purchased by OmniBuild Matt Sebas, who was also one of the event sponsers.
9. The Yin Yang of Equinox. And some light is dark and some dark is light. HERE.
10. Art imitates life and life imitates art. If thoughts shape reality, it makes me wonder if the many science fiction movies that we watched again and again and that called it on robots and super intelligence going rouge helped to bring what is happening today.

11. I got three like this in a few days. It’s called a hat trick.
12. My brother Bob has been busy. Not only did he superimpose a picture of me onto a sibling line-up, he made us hug.
13. I just texted this to a friend: What’s your story, Morning Glory.

There was a whole documentary on how people who watched Star Trek grew up to become engineers and scientists who then worked on finding ways to make the tech they saw on Star Trek. So, I’d say the imagining of the things have brought about the things, for good and for ill.

I like the last photo, very nice. It’s it interesting how AI can change things like a photo?
