Hitchhiker
Poetry went to Woodstock
It hitchhiked to Yasgur’s Farm
Got an autograph from Mickey Hart
But marched to its own drum
Poetry drank Southern Comfort
with Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix
It evaded the draft
Got a backstage pass
went to college but flunked middle class

I could not get to Woodstock, too young. I know folks who did not have to serve and those that did.
It was a weird place to be back then. Your write tells a really fun time for others.
