Moon Over Farmers Supply
Sometimes when you live in Floyd you forget that Friday is Jamboree night until you go to town for an unrelated reason and see tourists taking pictures of the Farmers Supply. People are walking around with ice cream cones and the strum of fiddles can be heard. You cross the one stoplight intersection to meet friends at Oddfella’s Cantina, stopping to wave to a neighbor across the street. That’s when you look up and notice the moon on the rise. You join the rest of the tourists and snap.
Post notes: Some photos of the Friday Night Jamboree Street scene are HERE. A video clip can be watched HERE.

Sounds like downtown Floyd is on the other side of the globe from 42nd street.
The village, where Castle Howl is located, has no traffic light. Most know the names of each others cats, dogs and chickens. But we lack the tourists.

Ha ha on knowing the names of each other’s cats and dogs. You kind of one downed me!

I still like all the action brings! Is it really every Friday?

Yes, even in the winter, but a bigger street scene in warmer weather.

Great shot and I didn’t see the moon at first glance
