13: You Wear it Well
1. Does your heart chakra need more cowbell? -Posted by my friend Joel on Facebook
2. Every time I watch THIS video, I jump up to answer the phone.
3. Joe and I clean up pretty well. Scroll down HERE.
4. Joe recently officiated the wedding of a couple he introduced to each other. He started the ceremony with “dear ones, we are gathered here today” and I almost expected him to finish with Prince’s line, ‘to get through this thing called life.’
5. I recently heard that some towns in Europe are rated by flowers rather than stars. Our friends Greg and Laura’s wedding was held at a five flower wedding venue. It just happened to be their home. – More from “From Kirtan to Prince” HERE.
6. I face-timed my grandsons, Bryce (7) and Liam (5), on Sunday while we were driving home from the wedding (in D.C.). They were in the back seat of their dad’s truck on the way to the movies. First we talked some and then, when the truck stopped, they showed me how they can climb out of the back window into the cab. After that, Liam gave me a face-time narrated tour of the inside of the movie theater. What fun!
7. While we were away, my son, Josh Copus, was doing his yearly spring 16 Hands Studio Tour at our house. On Saturday my younger son Dylan and my grandsons, Bryce and Liam, came to visit him. When we got home we got a message dictated from Bryce to Josh’s girlfriend on an egg carton. It said: “Bryce and Liam found seven eggs on Saturday. The chickens were hiding eggs from us in the shed.” Now I can never throw the egg carton away.
8. I spent some time Sunday with Josh’s guest artist, a full-bloodied Irish American potter named Daniel Finnegan, and we both agreed that the paradox of the Irish is that they are generally extroverted introverts.
9. Last week I posted a line by my dharmacratic friend Will that said “God is transgender.” Someone commented that God has no gender, which caused me to reply, “Yes, maybe it should be, ‘God is transcendgender.”
10. Josh to Colleen: I didn’t mean to be short with you. Colleen: I’m the one that’s short (5’ 1”).
11. The whole time I’ve been typing THIS song has been in my head and especially the line that goes: Madame Onassis got nothing on you.
12. The dress as art? The latest is Claire Danes’ fiber optics illuminated dress that she wore on the red carpet of the Meta Gala, celebrating fashion in the age of technology. See it HERE.
13. I once wore a black crow feather in my hair for one whole summer.

Who doesn’t need more cowbell?
What a lovely staircase. The wedding must have been well worth five flowers.

Emma Watson (of Harry Potter fame) wore a dress made out of recyclable plastic. It was lovely.
