1. For those who didn’t know: When I went to the Pine Tavern Halloween Costume Party after being at the one at Dogtown Roadhouse, I joked to people there that there were two people at Dogtown dressed up like Tim Kaine and Ralph Northam and that they did a great job pulling it off.

3. This year I went to the traditional Kind at the Pine Halloween bash as The White Rabbit. Yes, that rabbit. See HERE.

4. At the Floyd Chamber of Commerce Spooktacular Gala, I ran into a man who was dressed in head to toe camo.  “My husband has a costume just like that,” I told him, even though I didn’t think it was a costume and he was probably a hunter, like my husband is.

5. I went to three Halloween parties and wore three different kinds of ears but I only have a photograph record of two. I wore leopard ears to the Chamber Spooktacular Gala (above) , rabbit ears to The Kind at the Pine Tavern (HERE), and white glitter mouse ears while meeting Tim Kaine and Ralph Northam for my brief visit to The Floyd Country Store, where Kaine played harmonica on stage with the band, and Dogtown Roadhouse Halloween party, where Northam, a candidate for Virginia Governor, briefly spoke.

9. After a power outage from high winds on Sunday, we ran our generator all day Monday.  Every time it popped, it sounded like a car door shutting and all day I was on guard thinking someone was here.

10. Listen and Silent are the same word with the letters moved around.

11. By the time I went to bed Monday night, I was sure the power had come back on, but it turned out to be the moon.
