Love the Louvre
I got closer to going into the Louvre than I did in 1975 when I had no money to venture in and only saw the building from a distance.
This time I had money but was too tired after our first Parisian dinner with Joe’s cousin and her family the night before, finding our way around the city and to the Klimt immersion show, walking around Boulevard Saint-Michel and along the Seine River to know where to start.
Apparently, the Louvre, is the world’s largest art museum and a historic monument in Paris. It takes up a city block and surrounds a courtyard.
Apparently, you’re supposed to do this at the Louvre.
Maybe not going in means another trip to Paris someday to get even closer. I soaked my feet in the fountain water and got a great foot rub from Joe that helped to revive me. You can about our first day in Paris HERE, our visit to Monet’s Garden HERE and our experience at the Klimt multi-media immersion light show HERE. .
