"A blog is to a writer what a canvas is to an artist." ~ Colleen Redman

It’s Official

I had my first green beer on St. Patrick’s Day.

I also ate green and gold chocolate shamrocks, homemade by Floyd’s Cocoa Mia.

We spent Saturday night at the Buffalo Mountain Brewery’s McDaniel’s Tavern with the rest of the Irish loving town and people beyond.

A friend greeted me by saying, “Erin Go Bragh.” “What, take off my bra?” I answered.  It was that kind of night.

There was live music but nothing Irish. Joe knew I needed a fix, so he later serenaded me with the above.

The next day I met up with a friend at the tavern to play Scrabble (see the post about my “pub practice HERE). “I’ll be the one in green,” I messaged her.   Look for some photos in an upcoming Floyd Press.

Fun, fun, fun! Joe ‘s gift to you was a special delight! Miss seeing all the green shenanigans in Savannah, GA! What a fabulous place to celebrate that city was in my younger years. Now I find myself reminding hubby we need to stay home to avoid those who drink and drive. Getting old has changed my perspective of so much.

Well I love it cause it’s all Floyd style and like in my backyard.

A fun way for St Patricks!

Scrabble: I think QT with an A is the name of that african chewy tea? – KAT, KHAT and QAT, which could be a useful high scoring U avoidance tactic.

How do I edit my comment after it is submitted? I see extra words that I have no clue about, but they are likely related to this tablet’s keyboard function. It is like a ghost lives in there with questionable intentions! ?

Sky, I have an edit option for comments but I don’t know how or if commenters can do it. Rashbre, such a glaring reminder of my poor game. I couldn’t remember those Q with no U words and I wasted that Q on Qi. I am determined to remember next time.
